Resizing a video with Simple Video Tools is a straightforward process that allows you to adjust the aspect ratio while preserving your video's content. Here's a step-by-step guide:

This article gives a quick overview of how to resize videos using Videobolt's Simple Video Tools. For a deeper dive, check out this blog post.

  1. Upload your video
  2. Select the video file from your device's storage.
Our video resizer supports a wide range of video file formats, ensuring compatibility with your content. Registered users can also choose from previously uploaded videos in their Asset Library or from Simple Video Tools exports.
  3. Select or enter an Aspect Ratio
With your video uploaded, you'll be presented with options to set the desired aspect ratio. You can either choose from a list of predefined, standard aspect ratios or manually enter the width and height to create a custom aspect ratio.
  4. Choose Zoom or Fit Video Options
Next, you have the choice between two video resizing options:
    • Zoom In: Selecting this option will resize your video by cropping it to fit the chosen aspect ratio. This means that parts of your original video may be trimmed to match the new dimensions.
    • Fit Video: Opting for this option will add a background box around your video to match the selected aspect ratio. This method ensures that your entire video remains visible, but it may result in added space around the video content.
  5. Export & Download

After configuring your resizing preferences, click on the "Resize & Download" button. The video resizer tool will process your video, and you can download the resized video in your desired format.

By following these steps, you can easily resize your video to fit specific aspect ratio requirements while maintaining the integrity of your content.
