Cropping a video with Simple Video Tools is a straightforward process that allows you to precisely select and crop the portions you want to keep. Here's a step-by-step guide:
This article gives a quick overview of how to crop videos using Videobolt's Simple Video Tools. For a deeper dive, check out this blog post.
1. Upload the video that you want to crop.
You can do this by selecting the video file from your device's storage. Our platform supports a wide range of video file formats, ensuring compatibility with your content.
Registered users can also select previously used and created videos from their Media Library, or Simple Video Tools exports.
2. Select the crop area
With your video uploaded, you'll be presented with the video preview on the editing interface. This is where you can define the crop area.
You have the flexibility to choose between two cropping options:
Predetermined aspect ratio: If you prefer a standard aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9 for widescreen), you can select from a list of predefined ratios. This simplifies the cropping process and ensures your video conforms to common standards.
Manually set aspect ratio: For more precise control, you can manually adjust the crop area by dragging the corners or edges of the selection box. This allows you to create a custom crop shape tailored to your specific needs.
3. Export cropped video
Click on the "Crop & Download" button. The tool will process your video, applying the crop settings you've defined.
After processing is complete, you'll be able to download the cropped video as an MP4 file to your device.
