Depending on your location, VAT may now be included in your total subscription cost.
In early 2025, we updated our payment system to provide a more stable and reliable service for our users. As part of this change, we’ve switched to a new payment provider, which follows tax regulations that require VAT (value-added tax) to be applied at checkout for users in certain regions.
Why am I seeing VAT on my purchase?
Depending on your location, VAT may now be included in your total subscription cost. Here’s why you might notice this change:
- Current subscribers upgrading their plan – If you're upgrading your existing subscription and seeing VAT for the first time, it’s because our new provider is required to apply taxes based on your region’s tax laws.
- Returning subscribers – If you previously had a subscription and are subscribing again, you might notice a higher total price compared to your last purchase. This is due to VAT now being applied in accordance with current tax regulations.
Who needs to pay VAT?
VAT is applied based on your billing country and local tax laws in your region. It is calculated at the moment of purchase, meaning tax rates and requirements may change in the future. Some regions may not require VAT right away, but tax regulations could update over time, affecting future payments.
Where can I see the VAT amount?
- The VAT charge, if applicable, will be included in your final price at checkout.
- It will also be listed on your invoice, which you’ll receive after your purchase.
