Here’s what you can expect: #### 1. Your subscription is paused - When a payment fails, your subscription is temporarily suspended. - This means you won’t have access to paid features until the payment goes through. --- #### 2. We’ll automatically retry the payment - Our system will automatically attempt to charge your payment method again over the next several days. - You don’t need to do anything unless your payment details have changed. --- #### 3. You can fix it manually - If your card has expired or there are insufficient funds, you can update your payment method in your **Billing settings**. - You can also click **Resume Subscription** to retry the charge right away. --- #### 4. Your billing date stays the same - Subscriptions run on a **fixed monthly cycle**. - If your payment is late, your billing date doesn’t move — once your subscription resumes, it continues from your original renewal date. - Example: If your renewal was due on August 15 but payment only succeeded on August 20, your next renewal will still be September 15. --- #### 5. Cancelling instead - If you don’t want to continue, you can cancel at any time in your **Billing settings**. This will stop all further payment attempts. --- #### Summary When a payment fails, access is paused until it’s resolved. Payments are retried automatically, and once successful, your subscription continues from the original billing date.
