What are the Scheme and Fine-tune views for?
Go beyond ready-made palettes to adjust colors by group or one at a time.
Scheme and Fine-tune, both in the Colors tab, let you adjust colors after applying a palette – or instead of using one at all.
Scheme shows one row per color group in the template, labeled by its role (for example, background, accent, or text). Changing a row recolors every control in that group together, while the rest of the template stays untouched. Groups with a lock icon can only have their hue changed – their brightness is fixed to keep the effect looking right.
Fine-tune shows a flat list of every individual color in the template, for full control. This is also where you'll find the option to keep a logo's original colors even after applying a palette elsewhere. Locked colors show a lock icon – hovering over it explains that only the hue can change, to keep the effect readable.
Changes in the color picker preview live on the video as you drag, but only apply once you press Apply color (or Add/Update color). Closing the picker without pressing that button keeps your previous color.
