How to mannualy sync lyrics?

Time your lyrics line by line in the Lyric Editor using keyboard shortcuts.

Manual sync gives you full control over when each line appears. It takes a little more time than AI sync, but works well for songs with complex timing, spoken word, or any track where you want precise control from the start.

Step 1: Open the Lyrics placeholder
Click add subtitles next to Lyrics. A small panel will appear — click Create Lyrics.

Step 2: Paste your lyrics
The "Add & Sync Your Lyrics" window will open. Paste your full song lyrics into the text field, with each line on its own row.

Step 3: Choose "Manual sync"
With your lyrics pasted, click Manual sync. This opens the Lyric Editor with your lyrics listed on the left and a timeline on the right. The lines are not yet placed — you'll time them as you listen.

Step 4: Time your lyrics
Press Space to start playback. As the song plays, use the keyboard shortcuts to place each line:
  • Q — move the next line's start to the current time
  • E — end the selected line at the current time
  • S / D — slow down or speed up playback
  • R — reset playback speed
  • L — loop the current section
  • H — show all keyboard shortcuts

Work through the song from start to finish. A rough first pass is fine — it's easier to get everything placed and then go back to fine-tune.

Step 5: Fine-tune and save
Go back and adjust anything that feels off. Click any block on the timeline to select it and reposition it, or use the toolbar to merge, split, or add new lines.
When you're happy with the result, click Save in the bottom right corner. Once saved, close the Lyric Editor using the X in the top right corner — this applies your lyrics to the video and takes you back to the editor.

Your lyric file is stored in the Asset Library for reuse across projects.
